Anyone used the Microchip MCP130 for reset? http://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/en/MCP130
Prices are about ~.50 where the DS1813 is about $2.50

Re: MCP120 vs DS1813
In general they are fairly similar, sans the reset time (150ms vs 350ms) and apparent lack of adding a reset switch. As I'm also looking at some other I/O devices which have a active high reset, I'm now looking at the TI TL7705A. It has both active high and low open collector outputs and is a bit more flexible but does require a few additional parts. It's also less expensive listed for $0.74 at Mouser.
