That's a shame - thanks for posting. I followed the blog with interest - latterly, updates on health as well as updates on products and projects.

Re: Bob Applegate, of Corsham Technologies passed away this
I am not familiar with Mr. Applegate or his products, but it’s very distressing to read of someone dying at a relatively young age. Perhaps someday medical science will unravel the mysteries of cancer, but that still seems like something that is very much in the future. It seems we aren’t any closer to developing a cure for this scourge than we were 50 years ago.
I read some of Mr. Applegate’s travails leading up to his death, as well as his efforts to keep his business running and fill orders. I have to say I was impressed with his positive attitude despite his condition. My condolences to his family and friends.

What I'm really hoping for is that someone will produce more KIM-1 serial boards. I have some of his PCBs which I need to populate but it would save me some time and inconvenience.

I think it would be best to use this thread only for appreciation of Bob's life and achievements, or expressions of condolence or sorrow.
It's very easy to start new threads, and don't worry, they will be seen.
