I'm going to go to a liquidation outlet this friday to get some chips for my 6502 computer. Are there any rare/useful/prototype chips that I should look out for?
I already plan to get 6522's, 6551's, and oscillators. Any other suggestions would be wonderful.

WDC (Western Design Center) is the main supplier now. See this page for their IC offerings: https://wdc65xx.com/integrated-circuit
Daryl's 65SPI chip (not to be confused with 65SIB, the interface—I know the names are confusing) has been used by several forum members here. It's an SPI that goes directly on the 6502's bus. The original CPLD he used to make them became unavailable (probably discontinued because it was so power-hungry and ran hot), so he re-designed it to use the Atmel ATF1504 CPLD. He no longer programs and sells them, but he does provide the code for you to program your own, at the linked page.
Other ICs, like for generating video, UARTs, etc. will usually be interfaced through one of the ICs referenced above, ie, not directly on the 6502's bus.
