6502 computer power supply question

Post by Krsultov »

Hello everyone :D ,

I built Ben Eater's 6502 breadboard computer https://eater.net/6502, but I need help with the power supply:

Is 5v/2A OK for the W65C02 and the other chips?

Best regards,
Krum

5V is ideal. 2A is way, way more than you'll need. Having the capacity normally won't hurt anything though.

Be sure to go through the 6502 primer, which is apparently where Ben Eater got his address-decoding scheme.
http://WilsonMinesCo.com/ lots of 6502 resources
The "second front page" is http://wilsonminesco.com/links.html .
What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?
