London is quite some distance from North Yorkshire, I think. I actually saw a board outside a local pub, advertising "the last decent coffee before London" - bearing in mind it was right outside the station.

The trick is that I don't have a permanent address here to give you, and then I'd have to find some way to squeeze it into my already overstuffed luggage. It'll be easier to sort out when I'm back home in Finland, even if the postage takes longer.

What price were you thinking of?

Yes, Yorkshire is definitely a bit too far from London for a drop-off! ;-)

I appreciate the main board needs some attention. The sockets need cleaning & the reset circuit is a bit temperamental. And the NVRAM is quite old.
So I've priced it accordingly.
£30 UKPounds for the main board and the programming board (for the NVRAM).
And £15 for the stepper motor and driver board (if you don't require the stepper motor & board then that's fine as I will probably find a use for it).
Shipping at cost.
Manual & floppy disks included.
Regards
Andy

Sounds quite reasonable, though I probably won't be able to use the floppy disk - at least in the near term. Could you figure out how much the shipping costs to Finland with everything suitably packaged? They might ask for a postcode to give a quote, which would be 31520.

Hi
£15 UK Pounds if the parcel is under 2Kgs.
£20 to £23 if over 2Kgs.
Both will be insured for £50 and signature required upon delivery.

Just to double check you want the stepper motor & driver board as well?

I weighed it all today and it is just under 2Kgs, so £15 UK Pounds to ship.
Hope this helps?

Yes, I might as well keep everything together. I expect the motor will make a good output device for indications.

Give it a few days while I get myself home and settled again.

Good news: I received the SBC and its accessories today. The documentation is indeed quite substantial.

As the provided programming board isn't quite right for attaching to a Raspberry Pi (as opposed to a BBC Micro), I'll need to homebrew something to make that connection. From there, however, I should be able to make progress.
