Hello 6502 specialists!

I want to build an old 6502 system called Octopus.
It was a complete systeem (CPU6502, VDU, FDC, RAM, CPU65816, Z80)
designed by Elektuur/Elektor, a dutch electronics magazin.

I want to build the PCB's from scratch, all designs are there!
What I miss is the systemsoftware OHIO-DOS / DOS65!

Can someone point out to me where I can find something like this,
or has somebody the sources and is willing to make a copy for me?

Thanks in advance,

With kind regards,

Edzard Kolks

Hello Edzard,

you should have a looke here :

http://www.osiweb.org/osiweb/

Me too was looking for a copy of OS65D (to be used with the ELEKTOR Junior also). All i did find was the commented disassembly at the previous
web site.
Better than nothing i would say.
Have a nice day.
Cordialement , René sommerlatt.

Are you still looking for the system software?

Best Regards,

Hello All...

This is my first post...:-)... I'm busy with building up the "junior computer".. The computer is still working after almost 30 years !!! I have a graphics card (9367), a memory card and soon I will start with the floppy disk card...

Does somebody have a version of the OS65D discs ? Or does anyone knows were I can get these discs ?

Many thanks in advance,
Paul

Pretty old thread, but the question is still around. Did anyone manage to get a working set of the modified OS65D discs? I found a commented disassembly of the OS65D 3.0 for either Junior or EC65 between old papers.

Hello All

Yesterday I managed to boot my Junior DOS with an OS65D image for "HxC Floppy Emulator". The emulator is much more stable compared to real drives.. But I'm not able to perform any write actions with the HxC Emulator.

regards
Paul

Do you have the original images used for Junior or EC65 (or SAMSON)? Really interested in those.
The issue with writing was something with the software of the emulator. I had to use a special firmware, described somewhere here in the forum.

[edit]
Different forum. The drive has to have FlashFloppy software, then it works: http://osiweb.org/osiforum/viewtopic.ph ... t=30#p2841
