You're in luck because I recently submitted a patch to symon to add 65C02 support :)

I don't think sethm updated the release page to include the latest version but you can download it from my github here:

It still starts as NMOS by default but you can change the CPU type under "simulator" menu > CPU

Quite a few it seems!
I see that he still lists 0.8.5 as the latest on his site which would be why you've got that.
