Sym-1 Nostalgia...

Post by Lankspeed »

Hi, I was the original contact person in the UK for the 6502 Users group. Does anyone from the era 1979-82 remember it. I noticed that under the SYM-1 Sym-Physis issue 5-6 my artical appeared. (Sorry for the plug). Anyway are SYM-1's still around?

Regards Stephen.

Yes, I still have a SYM-1! And a KIM-1, and a UK101. But the Acorn System 1 has been upgraded (by the original owner) to an Acorn System 3.

I've got a SYM-1 here too. It was used for soldering practice at my college before I rescued it. The keypad, ROM's and 6502 needed replacing, but I got it going.

Where did you find a replacement keypad?
