Are my ideas realizable?

Post by cnbl »

Hello, all!

I am a Chinese senior student. I started to be interested in 6502 since I contacted the electronic product called "WQX" or "wen qu xing" in Chinese. It is designed for studying English.
You can goto http://www.ggv.com.cn for more details.
But for most fans, it is not just a dictionary. They can programme on it by using "GVBasic" or they can download ".lav" files from PC, which are created by a more powerful language called "LAVAX" for its speed and applications.
Also there is an assembler called "WQXHEX" written by a Hongkong person, SUN.

There are many useful programmes on the 6502 based devices. I think it's possible to port them for WQXs.

However, most Chinese fans do not know the good resourses here because of LANGUAGE. So, can some of you translate them for Chinese fans? Though the i/o may be different.
And sometimes, I can't connect to the links appeared on this site. It's too slow for a foreigner.

I keep a lot of translated docs on my site, there are a few Chinese ones.
http://nesdev.parodius.com/6502_cn.txt

But most of them are specific to the NES/Famicom system.

And this one for NES music. Does the WQX have a soundchip?

Maybe not the info you're looking for, but I hope it helps in some way.

Well I used google language tool to view the link you sent.

You possibly could use the reverse

For example

I apologize if I am not answering your question.

Maybe you could send me a WQX and WQXHEX and I could get a game running on that computer. :D
