(There's a general point here, about taking backups of sites and guarding against the possibility of an enthusiast, or their provider, dropping off the net or deleting some interesting content. Both http://archive.org and http://archive.is provide some safety net, but it's better when there are multiple private copies so at least one can be re-published. A recent case is http://beebwiki.mdfs.net/ which is only a partial recovery of http://beebwiki.jonripley.com - another example is imageshack.us)

You have my permission to do a backup of my site in case I unexpectedly disappear for whatever reason. I do hope to keep adding to it though, and quadruple its size with helpful resources I have in mind, and I seldom go more than a few days without updating something in it. It has taken two years to get it where it is so far. I wish I could put more time into it. It looks like I'm getting about a thousand visitors a week, but the website is scheduled to be featured as EEWeb's "site of the day" for two days in June, and they get 9,000 visitors a day, so I might have to move my site to something with a connection that can keep up with the demands of a lot more traffic. Edit: Since I wrote that, I've found out about archive.org.

I suppose my POC site could fall into that realm. It doesn't provide anywhere near the level of detail available at Garth's site, however, so perhaps preservation should I "shuffle off this mortal coil" may not matter. I don't maintain access statistics for the site, so I don't know how often or infrequently it is visited.
