MINEO A - a 16-bit XC3S400 board
Re: MINEO A - a 16-bit XC3S400 board
And here is the first board with mostly everything. There were a couple of minor errors. CP2102 is working (jumping RX and TX echoes to the port via USB). There is no Platform Flash yet, the board needs to be configured and remain powered... But it's a start. I will work on testing it tomorrow.

Nice work, Enso! Dang, you've got me tempted with this one. As if I have time for another project. But that 16-bit wide memory opens up some possibilities...

Thanks, Doc!
The upper left corner is begging for a VGA connector, isn't it? It's just a bunch of pads filling space... I think I have a few in my larder for the next rev...

Re: MINEO A - a 16-bit XC3S400 board
By the way, the board is named after Attilio Mineo. There is surprisingly little information about him on the web...Mostly because I can never spell his name right.

I came across him on disc 4 of 'Brain in a Box' collection.

Awesome! Let's get tg68 loaded in there and boot up NetBSD
Re: MINEO A - a 16-bit XC3S400 board
Ah, crap. I hit a little bit of a brick wall. I think I need to redesign the board to fix the errors and make it more assembly-friendly. I expected that I suppose.
