65C51 in the UK?

Post by SimonJ5 »

Hi,

Does anyone know of a supply of 65C51/6551A's that are available in the UK or failing that in Europe? I've tried all of the 'usual suspects' like Farnell, RS, Rapid, Maplin (do they still count?!) without any luck. I'm after somewhere between 2 and 4 and would prefer the 2MHz parts but at the moment anything will do!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello Simon,

Although you are looking for a 65C51, have you given any consideration to the Motorola 6850 ? ( I have never used the CMOS
variety..but have used the NMOS with a 1Mhz 6504 system )

As well, how long can you wait...I have never sent parts your way,
so I don't know how long it would take..Contact me offlist @
