Do you mean the PNGs embedded into the website, or the full schematics PDF linked at the bottom? Exporting a monochrome PDF from KiCad should not be a problem.
I am not an active part of the Steckschwein project anymore, but I will pass your comment along.

I think it was the PDFs I was reading.
