I don't know much about electronics/hardware but programming in ASM is my passion

I started building my homebrew single-board computers just few months ago, and thanks to all the collective knowledge & support in this community I've already built over half dozen working prototypes.

Hi all, thanks for all the interesting discussion - have been lurking for a while!

I'm Patrick, grew up in Canada, currently in Montreal and before that Boston and Edinburgh.

As a kid I had an apple //e and dabbled a little with assembly code but hadn't really thought about 6502 again until covid came along. I ended up playing with some 6502 disassembly (py65 being indispensable, thanks Mike!) and have recently been writing a slow 6502 forth. Now tempted to do one of the 6502 sbc builds but haven't quite decided what the right goal is

Hello,

I'm 31 years old, not a native English speaker i still learning, my background in chemistry, but i switch to IT from 2017 to 2019, i'm actually still try some codes on Micro-Python, it still new on Pi Pico, but i like as a hobby to try to communicate that device to an old chip for read and write data like the EPROM 93c46 which it's use Microwire (3-wire) communication protocole

Howdy y'all! Quick intro, I'm a 39 year old self-taught web developer from the Midwest. I'd always been interested in learning lower level programming than the JS I use in work, and but after watching too much retro/homebrew computer YouTubers (8-Bit Guy, Ben Eater, George Foot, James Sharman, and many more), I've started working on learning Assembly, as well as electronics. I've actually started designing my own series of 6502 and 65816 based computers, complete with custom graphics, sound, and i/o hardware, OSes, and software. I'm expecting that what I don't know that I don't know will be a major hurdle in these ambitions, but I'm looking forward to the journey!

@Dr Jefyll Oh yeah; I've learned (frequently and painfully, but ultimately valuably) in teaching myself web dev that what one doesn't know is massive, and that ignorance has the biggest potential to bite one in the backside!

My apologies for delay in my introduction message..

I'm a 70 years old electronic engineer, just retired ; I start my activity in late 1976 and my first contact with 6502 was with MOS technology KIM1 and in '77 with Commodore 2001.

In 46 years of applications I never lose my passion for "Big Jim 6502" , also if in a lot of project I had used and programmed 80XXX series up to 32 bit , ARM processor and a lot of AVR chips.
6502 assembler is my first and unforgettable love and now I have time to indagate some unresolved question
