I've never given any thought to an oscillator with a frequency that low, but I put links at the middle of that page (http://wilsonminesco.com/6502primer/ClkGen.html) to a couple of Fairchild ap. notes about CMOS oscillators which should help.

The "second front page" is http://wilsonminesco.com/links.html .
What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?

We talked about building oscillators around crystals here:
viewtopic.php?p=17401#p17401

That was at MHz frequencies, but the principles are probably the same. This app note might help:

(Thanks BDD: your link is to the MK3200, "IDT’s lowest cost, low power clock oscillator that generates a low power 32.768 kHz output from an inexpensive 32.768 kHz crystal. This part includes a power down pin and allows you to tri state the output clock for in-circuit testing"
