Jason Scott, of Archive Team fame, is planning a series of three movies, one of which is "The 6502, a documentary about the MOS 6502 chip and the art of assembly language programming."

The documentaries will be in the style of his previous works on BBS history and text-mode adventure games, with many interviews of historically important people and high production value. They are expected to be ready by 2015.

He is using Kickstarter to fund it, and has already raised $42K out of $100K.

See the announcement on Jason Scott's blog.

I'm looking forward to it already!

(ChuckT mentioned this in a previous post, but all publiciity is good publicity - the films will only happen if enough people sponsor them.)

Cheers
Ed
