I think the 2532 eprom was discontinued long ago.

http://www.sayal.com/ has these in stock.

Or, send me a PM. I have a very spare 2532 eproms from pulls.

For many of us, the weather outside is still great - sunshine & high 80s today.

Things will likely pick up in forum when vacations are over :( , it gets cold out :( , and there are fewer daylight hours for outside activities :( .

Yesterday was the first time I burned eproms since early May.

I built Eeprom programmer (on perf board) based on schemtic found at Batronix site:

http://www.batronix.com/electronic/circuits/eeprommer.shtml

It is a pretty simple design and I had all the parts in my junk box, so build cost was zero.

It's not a bad little programmer. Only downside is that ...

If you can get your hands on a Digital Multimeter with built in logic probe, or even a logic probe by itself, you should be able to check for system clock and activity on address and data bus of 6502.

I really wish I had a good scope (mine was built in 1956 and only has bandwidth to 60khz). However ...

RS232 with 6522 is generally a bad idea.

Just talk to a Commdore Vic-20 owner.

For 16550 design, check out :

6545 Application note

In one of the old Micro6502 or 6502 User Notes newsletters there was reference to a "recently released" application note for the 6545 CRT controller chip.

I have not been able to find a scan of this online anywhere.

Does anybody where I may find it?

I wish to use 6545 with the 6502SBC that I ...
