Re: Programs po test 65816 symulator

I think there's some monkeying with the mappings at boot time (to map the ROM containing MOS into bank 0 to catch the reset vector) but after that it all remains where you'd expect. It all happens at $B04F in the MOS module which is in the rom labelled "0" in the mdfs.net files - I can't recall how ...

Re: Programs po test 65816 symulator

Sorry I meant to answer this topic when Ed prompted me but it slipped my mind.

You shouldn't need all of those COP calls to be implemented - I think the BBC Micro build and shim only do a handful

Re: 65816 Test Suite

Thanks Hoglet,

Are the known differences listed anywhere?

I got a lot further than I expected yesterday evening and I'm on to the stack relative addressing modes now - I'm not clear when or how these should wrap in Emulation mode. Should the behaviour in 6502decoder be right for these cases. If ...

Re: 65816 Test Suite

Yes, thanks Daryl.

I've got a way to go before my core is quite ready to tackle these tests (it passes Dormann NMOS and CMOS tests currently) but I'm looking forward to having a good test of edge cases. I'd particularly forgotten about the PLB wrap "feature"!

Re: 65816 Test Suite

Hi, I'm experimenting with a 65816 vhdl core at the moment and this looks like just the thing to test it out. Do you have a link to the original as I didn't turn the up during my searches.

Thanks to BigEd for the pointer to this thread

Edit: I've found the original git by searching properly ...

Re: visual 6502 wiki

Is the wiki dead...I see it still has an error. Is this something we need to raise money (or time) to help with housing?

Re: A truly self-modifying JSR

Gratified to find that my unfinished Electron emulator passed! TBF I cribbed the pseudo-mico-code for the cpu from MAME.

Hello,

The Visual 6502 wiki seems to be down - is this a known problem?

Not sure who to contact.
