6502 in education in the UK (today) - Educraft

Thought it might be of interest, although it's not very strongly 6502... there's a small outfit in the UK currently touring schools and village halls, with a stack of BBC Micros and some Raspberry Pis too, I think. They use BBC Basic to teach various bits and bobs and engage the kids. (It's not about teaching programming as such, but the possibility of programming, I think... although they do refer to "coding workshops.")
