Hi there,

Does anyone have any views on which is the best all round cross assembler for the 6502 / 6510 microprocessor? I want to start writing Ass. Lang. software from my PC (Win2000).
I'm really looking for something i can download, fully featured (macros, includes etc for linking) and has both a decent user manual and example code to get me going.

Your views, both pro and anti any given cross assemblers would be most gratefully received. Thanks for your time and have a happy new year :-)

Personally, I use MAS65 by Douglas Beattie (sp?). Works like a charm. I've also written a simple preprocessor for it so I can use conditional compining, i.e. #include, #define, #ifdef, #undef, etc. Works like a charm.
