How would I go forth deleting an account and all posts acquainted with it

I'm not a mod, but I'd like to say it's regrettable when conversations are deleted. There have been one or two recently with very little content to them, but often a weak start will give rise to some interesting points.
Whether or not you do delete, it's a useful life lesson that the things you do online are not private or short-lived, so it's best to consider before acting. Most of us have said things we regret. Certainly ignorance is no offence: we all start out ignorant.
Cheers
Ed

If all the n00b questions could be consolidated into 1 thread it wouldn't be so difficult to take. I think it has been suggested before, but the advice was not taken...
There have been several times I've asked myself also, is this some kind of new intelligent spam-bot. But I'm going to stop myself there because what if the OP is like 13 years old trying to grasp new computing ideas...
This is why I like when newcomers post their background and introduce themselves in the 'Introduce Yourself' section. For some new posters here, even 1 post and you can tell they have experience, but it's ashame when someone is flamed, because I really think the OP is trying to learn alot at once. Unless it is a new type of spam-bot.

I don't know if it's technically possible to move posts between threads - I would think so. I agree that sometimes it's the best thing to do.

I was one who suggested consolidating but as you noted, the suggestion wasn't heeded.
