I browsed around the list but I couldn't find any general info about this. I'm curious to know what the basic differences are between the different 6502 processors. There were several variants of the original 6502 put I have no idea of how they are different. Here is a list of all the 6502s that I could find.

6502
6502a
6502ap
6502b
6502-11
6502-13
6502-39
6502-40

I have computers that use some of these chips but I haven't seen or used the 6502-13, 39, or 40. Is there a site somewhere that describes the general differences of these processors?

Thanks.

Hi Ernest,

6502 ==> 1 Mhz unit
6502A ==> 1.5 Mhz unit
6502B ==> 2.0 Mhz unit

6502-xx ==> not sure, might be meaningless (in other words lot number, week of manufacture, etc...)

Cheers,

Paul
