My apologies—I didn't catch that you would connect the 1541 itself to the PC which is what cbmeeks was saying. I was stuck on what pogof seemed to be saying. There was so much new forum material yesterday morning to get through, and I hurried too much.

Anyway I won the auction, 1451 - II (fitting design to my Commodore 64C) in great shape (unfortunately without built in power supply, but power brick) and what do you know, I come with original box! What a score.

I also bought some diskettes (for completenes).
