Re: Age = Illness
One of my real regrets with Tony's passing is that he didn't get the opportunity to complete his Pinball Mind project, on which he had worked so diligently. I had read up on what he was trying to accomplish (as well as offered some help when he asked for it) and was waiting to see how everything would turn out.

CABG, FemPOP & other assorted acronyms
After some eight nightmarish weeks consisting of three major surgeries in the space of six weeks, respiratory arrest and other assorted medical maladies, I'm finally back home, weak but functional.
Thank you to everyone who inquired about my status.

Re: Age = Illness
Thanks everyone for your concern. I start physical therapy next Monday, which will go three times per week for a minimum of four weeks. I will also undergo occupational therapy on a similar schedule.

Re: Age = Illness
Just a quick update.
Physical therapy is continuing, occupational therapy should be finished at the end of next week. On Monday April 30, I will be evaluated to determine if it is safe for me to resume driving. If I'm cleared to drive, it will take a big load off my wife, who has been forced to chauffeur me to endless doctor appointments (as many as three per week for a time), as well as do all the grocery shopping by herself, pick up my prescriptions, etc. I'm sure she will be thrilled.
While I'm not out of the woods with this medical stuff, I am in much better shape than I was right after returning home last month. I'm now able to walk without assistance and can care for myself. I'm still taking quite a few medications related to one of the surgeries (femoral artery replacement)—eventually those won't be needed. The doctors are estimating it could take the better part of a year to fully regain strength. Urk!
