I received 4 set of boards from JLCPCB Monday this week. They all worked just fine. JLCPCB now offers two levels of DHL Express services, Standard or Priority. For my set of boards Standard was $23 whereas Priority is $30. I picked Standard and received the boards in 8 days from submission of designs. $17 for PC boards and $23 for shipping, shipping has always been more expensive than pc boards.

I’ve found PCBWay to be exceptional. $5 for the board’s and around $25 for shipping.

Although lately, shipping has gone through the roof to about $60, as FedEx and DHL has deemed Australia to be a ‘remote’ location. So, this alone has slowed my PCB making right down.

I've used a few including Seeed Studio, OSH Park (from back when they were Dorkbot), PCBWay and Smart Prototyping. They were all wonderful but I like JLCPCB at the moment because:

• They are cheaper for larger boards, and:
• For a small fee they will elide the order code from the silk screen
• They do all the pretty colours. I like black silk screen on white solder mask but I recently discovered that matte black mask makes the chips disappear and the boards look like a sea of pads
