Feels like this thread deserves a bump.

This is an update post from last year:

Johan seems presently to be building an Amiga on the same board: these zynq chips from Xilinx, as seen on Zybo and Pynq boards, combine a substantial FPGA capability with an ARM and SDRAM interface. It's very capable, but needs a certain amount of setting up, so it's great to see the journey documented.
