Hi,
I'll scan some more manuals in the next few days and put them on my website. Happy if any of you guys want to copy/mirror them.
Tried both systems tonight, one works, the other appears to have a dead crystal. There is a cleaner copy of the schematic in one of the other manuals, will scan that section first.
It was quite a nostalgia trip entering a simple program using machine code, have not done that for many years.

Fantastic 8bitstedy,
I've got several of the modules you have as well, so if you get to scanning, I could use the following:
Microprocessor application system MA04/1 Experiment manual.
Microprocessor application system MA02/1 Experiment manual.
Microprocessor fault simulation and diagnosis expansion system MA08
A/D converter MS3 (I think that's the module I have)
Strain gauge module MS13
Stepper motor MS4
I/O port monitor MS12
Still in search of the manual for the Memory Expansion Module w/EPROM programmer.
I think your tech manual is an older version of the manual. The one I sent Mike looks newer. I suspect he will make it available sometime soon (or else I haven't been able to find it here on the site).
Thanks a ton and a half.
John

I removed the old battery and replaced it with what I had around. $25.00 was a bit much in my opinion for a replacement.

Thanks - I was initially trying to share the photo via url from a host, but this works, too.

If anyone wants to grab files and docs I already have, here's a link to the files I shared with Mike. Let me know if you can't get or see any of the files to the folder as I am just sharing the dropbox link to the folder.

We prefer that you attach photos and documents to posts instead of linking to another site. Website pages come and go, whereas files associated with your posts here stay around. Also, some of the hosting sites tack on advertising and occasionally do other obnoxious things, such as pop-ups.
In addition to the common image formats (GIF recommended unless high color depth is required), you can attach flat (text) files, PDFs, ZIP archives, and a few others. A maximum of five attachments are possible per post.

- This is a JPEG attachment.

- This is a GIF attachment. It's the same image as the above JPEG, but is more compact.

Hi,
Two more manuals, MA-02 Experiment manual
http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/downloads/MA-02.pdf (37MB) and Fault simulation and diagnosis,
http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/downloads/M ... gnosis.pdf 22.6MB.
The second manual has the schematics for the VISA II add-on which adds raster graphics!
Enjoy

Hi,
I recently acquired an Emma II trainer board and the Visa II expansion card.
I found the Emma II user manual online and the MA08 manual with both schematics.
Does anyone know where I can find the Visa II user manual?
Thanks,
