Very easy to link forwards and backwards - and in my view, not a bad idea. A dev thread might link to a finished project thread, which links back.

... I'll try to do better next time !

Seriously, though, it would be great if we could find a way of indexing many of the different threads that pertain to specific subjects, such as :
- All the flavors, gotchas, workarounds, and cheats for the ATF15xx CPLDs,
- likewise for 22V10, ATF750, etc etc.

I spend AGES searching 'cos I remember having seen something pertaining to a particular problem... Most recently I spent 2 hours before I found the information that I was looking for : a list of the buried node numbers for the ATF1504.... The searchengine for the site isn't too bad, but you have to already have half of the answer to your question if you want to find the complete solution. I'm not throwing stones, this site is just awesome - but sometimes I feel like we're drowning in our own knowledge.

If there's work to do to link things, or create a new 'knowledge base', I'm happy to be part of the taskforce.

I think there'd be a lot of merit in curating that sort of thing - where the information isn't readily available in datasheets, supplementary documentation generated by the community is very valuable, and more accessible than forum threads in any case (though linking back to them as Garth often does is incredibly useful). There is of course a variety of information on 6502.org (outside the forum) already, perhaps this sort of information - though not 6502-specific - could find a home there?

There's also the 6502.org wiki, if you think it might be helpful.  Anyone can add to it.
http://6502org.wikidot.com/
http://WilsonMinesCo.com/ lots of 6502 resources
The "second front page" is http://wilsonminesco.com/links.html .
What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?

I’ve never understood the rationale for the wiki.  That, in my opinion, just scatters information over a wider area.

A persistent problem with forums built on the phpBB style software is weak search functions.  Even the more recent phpBB releases haven’t addressed this matter.
x86?  We ain't got no x86.  We don't NEED no stinking x86!
