Lets not also forget the cost of shipping, import duty and local tax. I can build a 65xx system from scratch in the UK for less than it would cost me to import one of these.

I can't find any UK distys - anyone?
Yikes! I'm in the US, so I didn't take any of that sort of thing into account. I got mine directly from WDC, which is in Arizona. However, according to the WDC site (65xx.com), DigiKey and BD Electronics carry these boards, so if you want to just pick one up as a novelty and try it out, you could try one of those companies.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, but no help, alas. Mouser UK doesn't stock these "MyMensch" boards although they have chips and the SXB boards. Digikey UK don't have stock either. Coltek is a UK disty I've used in the past, but they have no stock.

BDE might be worth a punt as they're based in Malta but I gave up on eCommerce sites that don't have a simple "buy now" button years ago. They want me to "request a quote" which tells me they don't keep stock. (and they have the wrong stock image so confidence in them having it is even lower)

Cheers,
