My wife's job is in question at the moment (the school may be closing), so I should probably be kind of tight with the money; but if the price it tolerable, I'd like to get some of them to make them more visible and available to others here, just to help get them into the right hands before they are lost or scrapped. I won't fill out the request for quote before others (particularly those in Europe and UK) have had a chance to. I just want to help others experiment with some of the 65816's capabilities who only have a 6502 socket for it. I don't intend to make any money on them.

I think that's a bogus entry. They have the manufacturer as "Western Digital." That suggests to me that site is a link farm.

I imagine it's some kind of broker, and they just got these ICs and saw they say "WDC" on them and they don't really know what they have.

In October, 2014 I have bought W65C802P-6 from digchip.hk. The chip was cost $10, and the delivery to Russia was cost $10. Successfully works at the increased frequency in the AGAT (Russian Apple][Plus-compatible computer). Further acceleration is still in process.

3 Chips = 65(C)02 + SRAM + Microcontroller.

The German stock holder is quoting about £28 per chip (with taxes and shipping included). That's too pricey for me.

I had a lot of fun playing with the 65c802 I bought from Jameco back around 1986. It is a very cool little device.

I put it in my Apple ][+ and was impressed with all of the new instructions, even though I had to manually assemble and disassemble them. I was getting ready to write my own assembler and disassembler when my attention shifted, and I never got back to it. The computer and 65c802 got lost in a move a few years later, but I didn't realize it until a few years ago.

I notice that the SOB input (pin 38) on the 65C02 is floating. It should be pulled up to Vcc unless being positively driven in both directions.

Well, the Rockwell datasheet at least specifies that there's an internal pullup.
It would be unhelpful if WDC don't have one!

For assorted values of "easily". I've yet to be able to accomplish anything with the different circuit layout programs. I think it mostly stems from a) these programs are pretty awful, and b) finding the components that I want to use seems neigh impossible.

Some time ago, WDC announced that the internal pullup on RDY was removed, which coincided with a change in foundries. I see nothing in the latest 65C02 data sheet that mentions an internal pullup on SOB.
