+1 for the Micro UK101. I built one (as a more or less total noobie) and the thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1795. It's a long one, because I had various problems that the guys here helped me with (a lot!).
That looks like quite a shopping list you have for tools! I haven't got a 'scope yet - been getting by with a frequency counting multimeter and logic probe.
I'd love one of those Rigol 'scopes... bit expensive for me though; not sure I'd get the usage to justify the cost.
