Nice. But is there a Linux version available?

(I too had a template like that. And I used to keep lots of paper on hand, including graph paper. Also pencils, plain and in color. And -- for me, a necessity -- lots of erasers!)

It looks so much like some I have that I had to check. But no, mine are Berol RapiDesign brand. "EDA" in this case would have to stand for "electronics drawing aids" though, not "electronic design automation," LOL. This is the last board I designed without CAD:

I still do my schematics by hand though, since there are major things I dislike about every schematic-capture software I've ever tried.

What's an additional VIA among friends, anyhow?

I, too, still do my schematics by hand. But I'll either scribble in pencil or draw a PNG using Paint Shop Pro. I've had a lot of practice with the latter, and have learned some tricks that substantially accelerate the process. (And of course I built up a reference file with often-used shapes which I can cut and paste.)

Like Garth, I'm not comfortable with the rules and styles of CAD drawings (although they do have their place). When I want a drawing to communicate with a human (not a machine) then I want complete control of what the drawing says, and how. Forumites have seen many examples of my style.

I still do some simple schematics by hand, but usually for small stuff I build up with P-P wiring. If they turn out to be useful they will get transcribed to DipTrace to be included in a larger project.

I tried many free and/or affordable EDAs over the years and landed on DipTrace. It's full of warts, but suits me a bit better than any of the others. I'm sure something like Altium could be better, but it out of my hobbyist price range.

I have not used the template in about 25 years or so.

When I joined my first and only company I inherited a drafting table with one EDA: an electric eraser! Electric eraser + indestructible Vellum paper, Wow, that was a game changer!

I've also had numerous such drawing aids way back when... mostly classic schematic stuff, then later some logic templates.

However, I recently found an old gem.... a flowcharting drawing aid:

Pretty sure I got this shortly after I joined the company, which was also a very long time ago
