I find the "View active topics" link handy for seeing the latest posts both when I'm not logged in and as an alternative to "View unread posts" when I want to see everything new, even the threads I'm fully caught up on.

Or I would, if it worked. It seems to show only posts from the "Newbies" board, and not any of the others. Is this just me? Is there perhaps a setting I need to change or a different link I need to use, or is this a bug in the forum software?

I've never tried that option until now, but I just did, and I can confirm that it only shows threads in the Newbies board for me as well.

Might be no coincidence that Newbies is the most recently created subforum. My recollection is that 'Active Topics' didn't use to show anything at all.
