In about 2006, I interviewed for a C# job at a major insurance company (Blue Cross, IIRC). During the interview, we somehow got on the topic of COBOL and the guy told me that if I had any COBOL experience, he would hire me on the spot (pushing ahead of the other C# applicants).

That was 13 years ago, but I would bet money it's still running on mainframes/mini-computers there.
