And the other prices also end in either 5.02 or 8.16, depending on which core they include.

I just purchased MENSCH Microcomputer because for $18.16 it seems worth a look.

The w65C265sxb is IMHO the best value of all the boards and the easiest to extend.

I'm tempted to get a 65C134 but the small 32K RAM puts me off.

I just received the WDC September Newsletter. They note a change in working with their manufacturer to get the board prices down and link to Amazon, Tindie and Newegg for the new prices. These are not discounted prices, they're new (reduced) prices.

Nice. I got a W65C816SXB at $65.02 instead of the new $68.16. They have "fixed" that now. I am working at disassembling the flash because I couldn't find a listing of the default contents.
