This coming weekend there's an event in Hampshire, UK, for fans of Acorn's computers and others (at least one Apple II is expected.)
Generally, you can keep an eye on Acorn-centric meetups here. There are usually several each year, mostly towards the North and Midlands of England (Wakefield, Bolton, Manchester, Halifax, Leicester, Cambridge, Camberley...)
There's also an idea for a Bay Area meetup (that is, California, USA)
And I see now one in BC, Canada: ABUG Canada West.
And there are the Dutch Atomic Techsats several times a year in the Nederlands. In fact, there's one this coming Saturday which might even have a video link to the UK event - an international multi-site meetup!
There are several Vintage Computer Festivals each year too, both in US and EU. Not sure what's the best central place to keep an eye on those. Perhaps

and

I wondered if there are enough events to keep a sticky thread? Either way, please post here if you have pointers to other events where a 6502 fan would be welcome.
Meetups for 6502 fans
Re: Meetups for 6502 fans
I find the UK ABUG events are excellent.
There is plenty of space left at the Hampshire event this weekend.
And further more, it's being held in a Pub!
What more could you want?

Edit: ABUG South was indeed a great event. Some photo coverage here:

Edit: the planned linkup with the Dutch Atomic TechSat didn't happen, but some photos of that event here:

I see VCF West (in Mountain View, California) is coming up, with Acorn represented by a team of three, and also mentions of Atari and Apple systems. Also:

The Cactus: 6502 Blinkenlights — Alexander “Z” Pierson, Falls Church, Virginia — The 1970s featured a variety of mini and microcomputers that used toggle switches and lights for data entry and user interaction. However during the age of the microprocessor, the 6502 was one processor that wasn’t commonly seen with this sort of interface. Come see the Cactus, built with the intention of recreating the homebrew computer experience of the mid 1970s. Toggle in some data, try your hand at BASIC, and experience the answer to “Why did nobody do this 40 years ago?” for yourself.

MOnSter6502 — Eric Schlaepfer, Sunnyvale, California — MOnSter6502 is a complete, working, transistor-scale replica of the classic MOS 6502 microprocessor. It is 12×15 inches and has 4,769 components, including 313 LEDs so you can see all the internal registers and various internal control line states as it executes real live code!

Vintage Computer Festival West XIII is August 4-5 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Check out the exhibits so far, register your own exhibit, and check out the speaker list! CHM is the world’s best computer museum, and it will be fully open during VCF West.

I see Ed and Paul are planning a 5th July meetup in the North Vancouver area.

I don't know if we have anyone here who's nearby? I know we have two or three members over on the Ontario side.

CRX (Commodore Retro eXpo) is August 24th-26th, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV.
There will be plenty of 6502 talk, including new products being released for the Commodore line.
