Hello,

Does anyone have a datesheet for the WDC65C256 ?
I have a dip 40 chip with that number on it. And also 14, suggesting it's a 14Mhz device.
Maybe it's usable, but only if I know the pinouts.
So if possible, please share.

Never heard of such. There is the WDC65C265 but it's AFAIK only available in PLCC-84 or QFP-100.

Can you submit a photo?
