Does anyone know more details about this CPU fate? The idea of user defined flag looks very good for me. I also like the faster execution time of the instructions (as in 4510).

where we say that it was just an idea floated by marketing and never made it to the implementation stage. That is, Synertek retracted the idea that it was an upcoming product.
