X2864 family from XICOR, X2864BP-25 and X2864AP-35. http://www.datasheetarchive.com/dl/Scans-068/DSA2IH00223745.pdf. This is a very old product (from 1990?).

No, but I sure would like to try it!

As far as I could tell from the web site ("topwin6.com") there is only v6 and v7 out there. 7 is not stated as compatible with the 853, so if you have a link to v10 I'd be very, very grateful if you could post it.

I actually upgraded my XP box (a netbook) to SSD, and on loading TopWin6 I see ti is no longer working (cannot find the programmer). The TOP programmer also has a driver that is installed automatically (on win 7) and that definitely doesn't work.

Cheers

JonB
