The one on RosettaCode.org is for a C64. You should be able to easily modify it to your needs.

It's at http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Hello_World#6502_Assembly and is almost the same thing as what you posted at Getting Memory of variable. Just a little farther down is the code for your x86 to compare.
