Homebrew computer is 16 bits of awesome

[BigDumbDinosaur] sent in a computer he’s been working on for a few years now featuring the infamous 65816 CPU – the same CPU found in the Apple IIgs, the Super Nintendo, and [Jeri Ellsworth]‘s C-ONE computer

I wasn't aware of the '816's notoriety and I'm not quite prepared to refer to POC as "awesome." Nor was I aware that I had sent in anything. Either I'm losing my marbles (very likely, mostly due to advancing age and excessive exposure to 65C816 assembly language) or someone mentioned it to them and used my nom de Internet in the process. :o Thanks for the link!

André, they should have your stuff up there. Compared to what I've done, yours is awesome. :)

288 hits since yesterday (Sept 3), which I wouldn't call "lots." :D However, considering the arcane nature and plain appearance of the site, I'm surprised that there were that many visitors.

Did you see a bigger spike on the 1st though? Even several hundred is lots, if you consider the population on this forum (I'd guess 50-100 regular readers, as 10x the number of contributors)
Cheers

I would figure 5-10 dedicated daily regulars to 6502.org

There are 5-10 named accounts who participate, so we expect 10x that number of silent members and readers without accounts.

(I imagine there's another group who read but much less often.)

There were 22 hits on August 30 and 781 on September 1. Total hits since Aug 30 is 1058, so it appears the article on Hack A Day had some effect.
