The Gameduino would make an excellent video engine for other single board computers.
I found this video on Hackaday showing the speed difference between the Gameduino on the Arduino and on the Maple Leaf which uses an M3 Cortex processor. The Maple is faster because it runs at a faster speed and has more memory than the Arduino.

The FPGA for XESS is now four times as big so there is a chance that if the Gameduino is updated, there would be more room to make it a better video engine for other single board computers.
