I acquired an R6502P and two R6522Ps from e-bay to have a go at building Daryls SBC. Are these chips compatible?

Any suggestions for a good electronics supplier for the other components?

They should be as long as you set the jumpers correctly around the CPU; I'm using a 65C02 from WDC and an R65C22P2 without any apparent problems.

The TTL is bog-standard; mine was from the scrap box but was sourced from places like Rapid Electronics or Farnell. I had problems getting hold of the 6551 UART but I can probably help (contact me 'off-list'). I have access to an EPROM programmer (but no eraser!) so if you can supply a clean EPROM then I'll zap it for you.

Most of my stuff comes from either Farnell or Rapid Electronics (good for their 'packs' of capacitors and resistors but usual disclaimer!).
