They were working on a C-64 core for the Minimig.

The Minimig is basically a 68000 chip with an FPGA that runs Amiga software and there are some problems with Sprites but it is mostly compatible with a stock Amiga 500 though some people are documenting problems.

Just an aside, Xilinxinc has subscribed to jeriellsworth's channel and only has a total of 5 subscriptions.

Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about twitter? @xilinxinc has >1600 followers, @jeriellsworth has >6000 followers. On the other hand @xilinx only has 3 followers, and a single tweet. Without logo I don't think @xilinx is genuine Xilinx inc.

Jeri tweets enormous amounts. I've put her under my "high traffic" list - which I actually basically ignore...

What I don't like on the C-one is that you basically need - as far as I understand it - a separate CPU card with a "real" CPU like the 68000 or the 6502, and the FPGA "only" provides the glue and I/O (which could be substantial e.g. for an Amiga though). That gives a lot of flexibility, but that only leaves you with the original capabilities of the original CPU.

That does not suffice for me I have to admit. You could of course use a CPU card with another FPGA, but for this I think the board is overkill. Even though the C-one seems to have been able to generate some kind of following I have to admit. Something I never managed with my project...
