Found this word in a screen listing <ROT, does someone the meaning of this word?

An alias for -ROT seems likely.

I wanted to see how <ROT was used in the screen listing the OP mentioned. I was hoping that would reveal if <ROT is an alias for -ROT . Since you found its definition, that will no longer be necessary.

I was just surmising.

But if it is in a screen listing, it should be defined in a previous screen, as it is not a standard word in any Forth.

Possibly. Another possibility is that <ROT is a nonstandard extension in some version of Forth, and the screen Powersoft mentions may be for an application written for that particular Forth. In that case, the source for <ROT may not be readily available.
