It is the desire of the owner of this 6502 forum (Mike) that we not wander from a sharp focus on the 65 family (which includes all 65xx processors and peripherals). For this reason, another forum, the AnyCPU forum at http://anycpu.org/forum/index.php was started. There are 6502-related contexts where it is fine to discuss other processors and their support ICs (for example to support the 6502, or for learning something we can apply to the 6502), but please do not start a topic that is not even remotely 6502-related. Admittedly the AnyCPU forum does not have much traffic yet—it's party a chicken-and-egg thing, where it takes traffic to attract traffic—but the success of the 6502.org forum had started becoming an attraction for people hoping they could find support for Z80, 68000, etc., and as a result, there began a slippery slope of diluting the 6502 focus. Mike (the owner) and I (the moderator) discussed this, and his instructions were to keep it 65-family-only. We must all respect that. Your topic about adapting cc65 was ok. BTW, I don't have any idea of an answer to your question above, but other members may want to PM you. I think some have worked with the Atmega32, possibly Daryl (8BIT).
