This looks interesting... I found this through a link posted on the pcedev forum.

Very interesting - I look forward to further instalments! He's explaining clearly enough that it should help with an ARM target as much as with an x86 target, hopefully. (I posted some related links previously.)

Yes, there's certainly more ground to cover. And it is a rather ambitious topic.

In case anyone's interested, here's a link to a much more extensive and informative article -- not 6502 related, however. It addresses RISC to CISC recompilation, focusing on the morph from PowerPC to x86-32.
