Game Loader is an Atari 2600 Adaptor for the Commodore that adds Commodore graphics and sound to Atari games!
Protecto executives likely saw a fake prototype Adaptor putting
Commodore graphics and sounds on Atari games that was a mock-up running Commodore software.
Existing Atari Adaptors on the market were already knock-offs in the sense they contained an actual Atari 2600 in a box you connected to the other console so calling them Adaptors was false advertising that may have helped the Game Loader salesmen snare Protecto with
the only real Adaptor.
This product may have been Vaporware in the 80's but a real prototype now exists for the Commodore 64!
