We have just been ask to design a digital roulette wheel using a 6502 processor and were wondering whether anyone could give us a few pointers?

What kind of help? I don't know anything about roulette wheels, but I expect you'll need a random-number generator, right? If you have a real-time clock or continually running counter of some sort, add its value to the random number generator seed. You won't know the value of the counter at any given instant that you request a roll. If the counter is fast enough and you only use a few LSB's, you can just use that, and no further random-number generator will be needed.

Can you be more specific about what other kinds of suggestions you're looking for?
