1. Does anyone know *all* the reserved ProDOS filetype codes?
I would suggest you ask that question in the A2Pro forum here on delphi. The company that runs that forum also runs A2Central, and they are now in control of assigning file types and the codes.
2. Is anyone willing to help port ProDOS (and Applesoft BASIC) to the 8086?
Gag, why? PC-DOS or DR-DOS, or Novell DOS are all far superior to ProDOS, ProDOS can't even use more than 128K on an Apple II while SOS on an Apple /// could use up to 512K, and that machine was using a 6502. In addition, BASICA or GW-BASIC could run rings around AppleSoft, having far more and better commands for graphics and sound, and allowing almost 64K for code and the ability to use about another 64K for machine language code to call. I love the Apple II (I'd better, I have every model except for the original) but the the IBM PC was designed to be a better Apple II, and while it was clunky in many ways, and little elegance to it, it did have some advances over the II, and DOS and BASIC were some of those advances.
